iCare is 100% volunteer led and all funds raised going towards delivering iCare Wishes in communities across Ireland.

iCare is completely reliant on local volunteers in order to deliver successful fundraising events and activities. Annually we need upward of 200+ volunteers in order to host our two biggest events, the iCare Purple Run and Santa’s Gatelodge. Throughout the year, our smaller fundraisers also provide excellent opportunities to volunteer in your local community.

There are many opportunities to get involved:

· Volunteer with iCare

· Fundraise on our behalf

· Nominate iCare as your 'Charity of the Year'

· Take part in our fundraising activities

· Raise Awareness of iCare and our Wish Initiative · Follow us on social media, Facebook https://www.facebook.com/icarecharity/, Twitter @icarecharity

If you’d like to give something back to your local community or are interested in getting involved with iCare, we would love to hear from you. Contact the iCare committee via email: icare@hcil.com to register your interest.

We post regularly on our Facebook page with details of upcoming events/activities and subsequent volunteer opportunities. https://www.facebook.com/icarecharity/

Millennium Volunteer Scheme

iCare is delighted to be affiliated with the Millennium Volunteer Scheme, a Northern Ireland programme that recognises the skills, commitment and experience gained by any volunteer aged between 14-25. As part of the programme you will receive a certificate detailing the number of volunteer hours and type of activity undertaken – a fantastic addition to your CV and/or university application.

If you are a school, business, sports club or community Group

Please get in touch with the iCare Committee; we would love to work with you. Volunteering instils a real sense of purpose and teamwork and we have so many opportunities throughout the course of the year. We are more than happy to visit your premises and speak to students, employees and teams about the importance of volunteering, the personal and professional rewards and the fantastic work that iCare is involved with in local communities across the country. Contact the iCare committee via email: icare@hcil.com for further information.
