iCare welcomes visitors to Milford to celebrate European Heritage Open Day
23rd August 2018
During the second weekend in September, many historic properties open their doors to the public to mark European Heritage Open Day (EHOD). EHOD isorganised by the Historic Environment Division within the Department for Communities and is a great opportunity to explore buildings not normally open to the public.
iCare will be celebrating European Heritage Open Day on Saturday 8th September from 1pm – 5pm. The iCare Committee is delighted to welcome visitors to some of Armagh’s most historic buildings, the iconic Gatelodge and Manor House in Milford. Visitors will be treated to tasty refreshments, as they take a journey back to Victorian times to take a tour around the Gatelodge which has an abundance of decorative detailing.
EHOD is a celebration designed to encourage people of all ages to discover Northern Ireland’s rich and diverse architecture and heritage of which Milford has plenty!
